Avalokiteshvara Prayer (Gwanum Prayer)


This Prayer is held on 24th of each lunar month. We pray Avalokiteshvara who help us to get through
all pains and sufferings when we call Him with wholeheartedness.
If you register for the Avalokiteshvara Prayer, a birthday blessing will be given at your birthday,
and a postcard for your birthday will be sent to you.

Ksitigarbha Prayer (Jijang Prayer)

  This Prayer is held on 18th day of each lunar month.
We pray for all deceased ancestors to be reborn
in the Pure Land of Utmost Bliss.

Prayer for Dharma-Protecting Deity (Shinjung Prayer)


This Prayer is held on 1st to 3rd days of each lunar month. The Prayer is for all deities
and celestial beings in the Universe who take care of us everyday.
On the 1st day, the Prayer for Mountain Deity (San-Shin Prayer) is held after the Prayer for
Dharma-Protecting Deity.

This Temple became a base for assisting Korean Buddhists in Thailand
and for propagating Korean Buddhism in East Asia.
The Temple holds Morning Prayer, New Year Prayer,
Full Moon Prayer, Kshitigarbha Prayer, and Avalokitesvara Prayer. Also, the
Temple holds Dharma Services for Spirit Purifying Rite, Ancestral Rite, and 100th Day Prayer.

49-Day Prayer for Ullumbana Day, the All Souls¡¯ Day

  July 15 by the lunar calendar is Ullumbana Day on which
the Buddhists hold a rite to lead the parents,
7th up ancestors, and all related souls to the Pure Land of
Utmost Bliss.
The Prayer is held every 7 days, for 49 days,
prior to Ullumbana Day that is July 15 by the lunar calendar.
The Buddhist memorial tablets are enshrined again this day.

3000-Bow Overnight Prayer


This is a repentance prayer service to each of 3000 Buddhas of our past, present,
and future. It is held four (4) times a year, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.

Winter Solstice is the day that the energy of Ying is at its peak and newly forms
